Description from the seller

- Delivery to USA via FedEx

The idea for this drawing emerged after a hike in the mountains northwest of Athens. Last summer’s wildfires left clear traces — charred trunks standing like blackened matches — yet the landscape is already recovering with surprising speed. Autumn added its own kind of “fire” to the scene, warming the forest palette with seasonal color. In the work, I capture this meeting of destruction and renewal, held together by autumn light.

Please note:
- Possible color deviations are due to light, monitor and camera.
- For buyers outside the EU, additional duties and fees may apply.

Bio.
Konstantin Danilov (b. 1979, Moscow) is a painter and muralist based in Athens, Greece. A pioneer of Russia’s 1990s graffiti scene, his practice evolved toward Color Field painting, blending bold spatial compositions with psychological and emotional depth.
He has exhibited at major institutions such as the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, RuArts Foundation, and Burning Man x Sotheby’s (New York). His works are part of notable collections, including the STRAAT Museum (Amsterdam), Montresso Foundation, RuArts Foundation, and Sofia Trotsenko Collection.
Danilov has held solo shows at Triumph Gallery, Fineart Gallery, and Reloft Art in Moscow, and has participated in international fairs such as Urban Art Fair (Paris) and Affordable Art Fair (Amsterdam). His street art projects span over 20 countries, from Hong Kong to Paris and New York.
His work explores themes of emotional perception, ecological fragility, and transformation of personality and the interaction between one’s inner world and the external environment, including in the context of emigration. Using techniques such as painting around the edges of the canvas to reflect the hidden emotional layers that frame our conscious experience.
