Description from the seller

Armagnac Vieux 1893 - Pierre Célestin Tasque - Franc de Pied vines

Pierre Célestin was a mysterious Armagnac producer who created only this single cuvée before disappearing from records.
This makes every bottle from him extremely rare.

The spirit was distilled in 1893 from "Franc de Pied" vines - ungrafted rootstock that survived the phylloxera crisis. Less than 1% of original French vine genetics still exist today, making this a taste of pre-industrial terroir that can't be replicated.

After 75 years maturing, it was bottled in the late 1960s.
The combination of extinct vine varieties, exceptional aging, and the producer's single mysterious batch creates something truly unique.

The bottle shows excellent preservation with original labeling intact, proper fill level, and the deep amber color that only comes from decades of slow barrel aging.
This represents both exceptional quality Armagnac and a piece of viticultural history - the liquid memory of vines and methods that no longer exist.
