AUZOUX HEART. Removable anatomical model (clastic anatomy) by the Establishments of Dr. Auzoux, mid-19th century, 22 × 13 × 16.5 cm, painted papier-mâché. Educational model attributed to Dr. Thomas Jérôme Louis Auzoux (1797-1878). Thanks to the removable left side, we can see the internal arrangement of its cavities, the reliefs of the cardiac muscle, the valves, the valvules, and their cords. Labels are glued on to name all parts. Beautiful craftsmanship. Very fresh colors, with a lovely nacreous effect.
