Antique hand-painted Spanish tile dating to the late 17th century, a border tile decorated with egg and leaf motifs, spiral waves and palmettes, measuring 13.8 × 13.8 cm with a depth of 1.6 cm, in reasonable to good condition with glaze chipping on the sides and a chipped rear edge.

Original hand-painted antique Spanish tile made at the end of the 17th century. This is a border tile decorated with egg and leaf motifs, spiral waves, and palmettes. This type of tile is commonly found in noble buildings and ecclesiastical interiors in both Portugal and Spain. They were made in various locations; Lisbon, Valencia, Barcelona, Seville, and Talavera. This tile was made in Catalonia. The tile is in reasonable to good condition. There are some glaze damages on the sides, and the back side has been cut on one side, see the images. I pack the tile(s) with great care and ship with PostNL. All my packages have a track & trace number.
