An Islamic Ottoman/Bedouin style silver-metal ring. It presents a raised bezel with a square red hardstone intaglio depicting a quadruped, possibly a horse. The figure is shown standing facing left, with decorative elements in the background. The intaglio decoration served as a stamp or a seal, illustrating a protective symbol or the heraldry of the owner. The raised bezel is decorated on all sides with a geometric twisted pattern. The ring band is wide and displays further decorations, partly worn and faded. Good solid condition, wearable. Signs of wear consistent with age and use.
