Unique specimen XL Manipuri sound bowl
Rare in these large specimens!
Origin Tibet/Nepal
Approximately 1900 possibly older.
Average is approximately 36.3 and height 10.5 cm.
Weight as much as approximately 3,100 grams!!!
The sound is phenomenal and very impressive, with a lot of resonance!
Manipuri
A flat-bottomed, low-model with a quickly widening top. When the first sound bowls were brought back by hippies from Tibet, Nepal, and India in the late sixties, they were usually Manipuri bowls.
This scale is thick-walled.
These bowls are without tourist embellishments, but purely, originally, and authentically made from genuine material.
With very beautiful patina! The large one with light green tones and the small one with greenish-gray and red tones. Depending on the metals used!
He comes from a private collection of a professional and is an exemplar of craftsmanship.
Complete with 2 matching purchases and a cushion for optimal sound!
The sound lasts beautifully long and is rich in overtones.
