Fratelli Toso style hand-blown polychrome glass vase with two handles, featuring vetro a macchie decor in white, cobalt blue, orange, amber and green; circa 1960s, 10 cm wide, 20 cm high, 10 cm deep, 10 cm diameter, weight 540 g, made in Italy, in good condition with minor signs of age and spots.
Description from the seller
Vase with handles, mouth-blown glass with spotted glasswork, multicolored decoration, and cobalt blue accents.
Vases with two handles in the style of fratelli toso – mouth-blown glass produced using the so-called vetro a macchie technique, where multicolored glass fragments fuse during blowing to create an organic dispersed decoration in white, cobalt blue, orange, amber, and sporadic green accents. Slim, upward-tapering body with a slightly widened lip and symmetrically attached handles made of solid cobalt blue glass.
Condition
In good condition, with light superficial signs of use appropriate for its age; no visible cracks or restorations. Inclusions and small production marks inherent to the mouth-blown character.
