Struck with orginal dies in the 1990's by the dutch royal mint. 120g - 70mm Obverse: Allegorical figure of the Dutch Maiden wearing a crested helmet, holding an infant. Around her are 15 portrait medallions of Dutch forefathers, including princes of Orange and other ancestral figures. Above are three heraldic shields. Signed “J.C. Wienecke” at lower right. Reverse: Central round field with a crown above the inscription “BEATRIX / 31 JANUARI / 1938.” Surrounding this are decorative elements including lions, hunting horns, birds, flowers, and a ring of bells symbolising national celebration.
