In Hindu mythology, Vishnu is the four-armed god known for preserving the universe. Also, Brahma, the creator god, is depicted with four heads and four arms. In addition, some depictions of Shiva, the destroyer god, may show him with six arms.
Vishnu: He is one of the main gods of the Trimurti (the Hindu trinity) and is attributed with the task of preserving the universe. He is commonly depicted with four arms, each holding different symbolic objects.
Brahma: He is the creator god and is also part of the Trimurti. Although the most common representation is with four faces, some sculptures and depictions show Brahma with four arms.
Baphuon Style (1010-1080)
Religion: Hinduism, Shiva cult, Buddhism is tolerated.
