In respect of the historical images, a Bible cover was designed with a specific pattern by a graphic designer, which was then handcrafted as a relief by an engraver. In an elaborate process, the brass plate is copied and engraved in depth, then inserted into the book's cover.
Illustrated with 24 engravings of the popular and unique biblical cycle by the French artist Gustave Doré (1832 - 1883).
