Description from the seller

Art deco coupe in alexandrite crystal, probably Moser, Karlsbad, circa 1928–1938.

Description
Blown and hand-cut crystal coupe in violet-blue glass with a subtle neodymium effect, where the color shifts between cool blue and warm purple depending on the light. The bowl is facet-cut into broad optical lenses that bend and amplify the light, supported by a short stem and an octagonal-cut foot. The wall thickness and sharp polishing indicate high-quality atelier production in the tradition of Czech art deco crystal from the interwar period. No mold seams, no overlay, but fully colored crystal. An example of the geometric modernity developed around 1930 in Karlovy Vary and associated with Moser's luxury line.
Has some light calcium deposits, but that does not diminish the decorative value of this beautiful coupe.

Dimensions
Height approximately 10 cm
Diameter approximately 12 cm

Condition
In good condition, with minor signs of use appropriate for its age.

Origin and attribution
Similar to cut glass and crystal bowls and dishes from the Moser catalogs of the late 1920s to mid-1930s, which featured the use of solid colored crystal and optical facet profiles.
Likely Moser, Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad), Bohemia, circa 1920–1935.
