Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Omega Genève Automatic, reference 166.0173, from around 1970, with a stainless steel case and bracelet, silver dial, automatic movement, 37 mm case, original Omega box included, no original papers or warranty, and very good condition with minor signs of wear.
Description from the seller
A vintage icon from the golden age of watchmaking, up for sale is an exquisite Omega Genève Automatic, an original from the late 1960s to early 1970s—an emblem of Swiss manufacturing tradition with a mechanical heart. The watch stands out for its classic and elegant design, reliability, and timeless character.
In truly excellent condition for its age, regularly used watch.
It has not undergone any servicing in the last 15 years, but despite this, it is very precise and keeps excellent time, both thanks to the manual winding of the crown and thanks to the kinetic winding.
The crown is original Omega but not from this exact model, replaced over 30 years ago for a service.
The dial has a splendid iridescent silver reflection and is completely intact, as is the crystal (plexiglass).
For obvious common sense reasons, it is recommended not to subject a watch that is more than 50 years old to any water resistance test, nor to keep it on the wrist in the presence of hot water or steam (these rules are actually universal for any modern watch).
Even the very well preserved box is a real rarity in this condition.
ATTENTION: As a private seller and not a professional in the sector, I am unable to provide any guarantees on the purchase nor do I have the possibility of paying customs duties in advance.
I declare under my own responsibility that the photos in the advert were taken personally by me and the watch you will purchase is exactly the one shown in the photos.
Whoever buys this watch will certainly be satisfied and proud.
