This splendid porcelain tableware service from Limoges – Manufacture Chastagner illustrates the absolute refinement of table arts from the first half of the 20th century.

Each piece is decorated with an imperial green frieze enhanced with gilding in fine gold, applied by hand with exceptional craftsmanship. The pattern unmistakably evokes the ceremonial decor of the grand imperial tables, reminiscent of those set under Napoleon: distinction, symmetry, and aristocratic splendor.

All pieces bear the mark « C crowned – Limoges France », used by Manufacture Chastagner, one of the historic houses of Limoges.
