Staffordshire Porselein - Statue, Paar staande leeuwen - 26 cm - Porcelain

An impressive pair of English Staffordshire porcelain lions from the late 19th century. These splendid lions feature a rich caramel and cream color, with gilded details. They have canary yellow teeth and red lips in their open mouths. They retain their original glass eyes.
They are in a reasonable condition with a beautiful craquelure in the paint, appropriate for their age. Some cracks are present, including on the legs and a chip on the ear. The cracks and chip have been carefully glued, making them barely visible overall. See the photos, which are part of the description.
