Citrine-colored wine. Aromas of white fruits such as lychees and floral notes. Full-bodied, fresh, and elegant. Long finish.
SERVING
It goes well with oven-roasted fatty fish, roast lamb, and soft cheeses. Store in a horizontal position, in a cool and dry place, protected from light and temperature fluctuations.
HISTORY
You Will Never Know If It Was The Climate, If It Was The Land.
Gone was the talent of the people who passed through here and their fascinating stories and personalities. Or whether it was, purely and simply, luck. That same luck that made all this happen, in the same place, at the right time, like a blessing of aligned planets, of sun and rain and of men's curiosity. One thing however is certain. Silent and imposing, the old mountain has witnessed the birth of great wines in this piece of Dão land at its feet. And if for her a century and a half is almost nothing, in the time of men a lot has happened since the first vineyard was planted and the first stone of the House was laid, somewhere in the last decades of the 19th century. Crossed by times of war and peace, departures and arrivals, splendor and oblivion, the lands of Passarella saw history being written - by many talented authors, but always with their blood: wine. Maybe the legends don't exist and they are true after all. Perhaps history will, in fact, repeat itself. Or, quite simply, maybe luck will continue to be on our side. In any case, with the earth as a blank page, we will continue to write our lines, harvest after harvest. In the same way that Dão is legendary, both for its memories and for its apparent naturalness in producing nectars that men do not forget, Casa da Passarella once again puts its name on the lips of the World – which, in our humble opinion, is precisely where the great wines should be.
