Émaux de Longwy - Vase - Earthenware

Enamelled ceramic Art Deco vase from the French manufacturer Emaux de Longwy.

Les Faïenceries et Émaux de Longwy is a company founded in 1798 in Longwy, then in the Moselle, today in Meurthe-et-Moselle, on the border of Belgium and Luxembourg. Longwy enamels are a type of ceramic glaze created using a technique and know-how that are included in the inventory of intangible cultural heritage in France.

This vase was hand-decorated with stylized flowers in fuchsia on a light beige background, featuring a beautiful craquelé, and dates from the Art Deco period (1930).

The vase is in excellent condition, with no cracks or chips. The vase is marked at the bottom with a factory stamp and serial number.

The vase is about 30 cm tall.
