S. Thomae Aquinatis – Summa totius theologiae.
Description from the seller
Thomas Aquinas – Summa Theologiae – 7 volumes – Original parchment – Cologne, 1689–1692 – Complete
Description:
Complete, uniformly bound 7-volume set of the Summa Theologiae by Thomas Aquinas (Doctor Angelicus), published in Coloniae Agrippinae (Cologne) by Cornelius ab Egmond & Socii, 1689–1692.
One of the most influential works in Western philosophy and theology, and rare in a complete, uniformly preserved 17th-century series.
The bindings are in particularly good condition for their age: entirely in original parchment, with (old) handwritten spine numbering, all parts from the same period and by the same printer, including the Supplementum. The title pages are complete and clear.

Second of the Second – Second Volume – 1692
Third Part – First Volume – 1689
Third Part – Volume Two – 1689

All bands bear the original 17th-century printer's ornaments (with the motto 'PRESTAT' or 'Indefessus Agendo') and are evenly discolored, without structural damage.

Good to very good condition.
Original parchment bindings, complete and sturdy.
