Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Technics SL-1500 MKI turntable, manufactured in 1975, is a fully manual direct-drive model in excellent physical condition and tested and operating.
Description from the seller
Technics SL-1500 MKI year 1975 not to be confused with the MKII model or the more recent C version.
We are talking about a fully manual direct drive turntable, a close relative of the better known SL-1200.
Today, collectors have greatly revalued the first-generation 1500 model because it has become extremely rare to find one in excellent condition like the one presented to you.
Its features are very broad, including the motor placed on the lower part of the chassis for greater stability of use, completely isolated from the arm/headshell body.
I won't bother listing the technical data, which you can easily find online.
We are talking about an excellent specimen that has defied time (50 years).
Completely overhauled by a specialized technician, all original components, including schell, head, while the stylus is new ZERO HOURS.
Lid is in very good condition, polished, may still have small, negligible marks.
CURIOSITY.
The TECHNICS SL-1500 was also available as the SL-150, without a tonearm. Designed for tonearm upgrades to suit individual needs, it's common to see them with SME tonearms.
It will be packed very professionally.
Photos of each packing step will be sent to the buyer.
Demo video before packaging.
