Rare first edition of this collection of three treatises on horticulture, the most important of which on vines and wine by Gioanvettorio Soderini (1526-96).
Slight rubbing, bumping, wear, and tanning to the boards and spine, Library sticker on the spine, library sticker, library exit stamp, and pencil markings on the front pastedown endpapers. Small tears and creases on the title page. Pen markings on the colophon page. Pages 2/3 of the second part are stuck together by a piece of tape at the bottom. Pen writing on page 28 of the second part. Some browning and spotting throughout as usual. The text is clear, and the binding is solid. Overall, a nice copy in good condition.
