This woodblock print was created by Japanese artist Saitō Gengo (斎藤権吾) circa the 1990s. He specialized in themes of Japan’s rural four-season landscapes, utilizing the unique texture of woodblock prints and a simple yet delicate style to showcase the quiet charm of rural life.

Centered on the theme of a winter mountain forest snowscape: traditional Japanese wooden houses covered in thick snow, paired with bare branches and dark mountain forests in the background, creating a serene winter atmosphere.
