Original WW1 Swiss-made US Army Engineer compass, made in Berne by Chruchon Emons, with original pouch, in good condition, no certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
A rare fully functional heavy Army Engineers compass produced during WW1, used by combat engineers. The compass was likely made in 1917 or 1918 and was produced by the Swiss Cruchon-Emons (Berne) company during WW1. The needle moves, and the lid functions as it should. A very good quality, heavy compass in nice condition, overall a rare find. The original leather carrying pouch is also included, which is very difficult to find. It was also used in WW2!
Great and rare 100% original item from WW1 with a beautiful patina! See also our other interesting military books and militaria for sale!
