AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

This beautiful, unique production illustration was made in the late 1980s from licensed material for the production of book covers, agendas etc. in the Netherlands. It was created for Loeb Publishing / Interstat, which has been confirmed by the owner of Loeb Uitgeverij.
The coding on the back stands for LbBS016 = Loeb Bart Simpson cover drawing number 016.
The black outline is done on the acetate sheet and the coloring is done on the background paper, to make the outlines more clear.

There is a special reason why Bart Simpson wears a blue shirt on merchandise material. It was one of the first depictions of the character, dating back to The Simpsons days on the Tracey Ullman show, resulting in most of his Blue Shirt merchandise. There are rumors that this was done to make it easier to distinguish fake items from real ones, but that is not certain.

This cell was made for cards, magazines, book covers etc.
