Tokina, Canon AT-X PRO D 100mm 2.8 macro for canon Camera lens

I am selling the very extensive photography collection of my late father. He was a passionate hobby photographer for 65 years and in recent years also experimented with alternative lenses on digital cameras. He would disassemble the lenses if necessary for cleaning or repair. I am not a photography expert myself, so I describe the lot as thoroughly as possible, including as many detailed photos as possible.

The Tokina AT-X Pro D 100mm f/2.8 is a high-quality macro and portrait lens with a classic design and excellent optical performance. It delivers 1:1 true macro magnification, allowing you to capture small subjects such as insects, flowers, and product details realistically. The minimum focusing distance is approximately 30 cm.
The lens has a solid metal quality and uses the typical Tokina 'focus clutch' system, where you click the entire focus ring forward or backward to switch between autofocus and manual. In manual mode, the ring feels very smooth and precise.
The optical design delivers sharp images, good micro-contrast rendering, and a beautiful, soft background blur. Since it is a macro lens, the front tube extends during focusing — which is normal for this type of lens. The autofocus is somewhat moderate in speed, as is typical with most macro lenses.
In this character, it is a lens that works very well for both macro and portrait photography: sharp, contrast-rich, yet with a natural rendering. The f/2.8 aperture provides ample opportunity for subject isolation.
