This beautiful ancient Egyptian faience amulet depicts Taweret, the protective goddess of childbirth and fertility. The amulet displays a fine light blue-green glaze with traces of age-related wear and encrustation consistent with its antiquity.
Now presented as a pendant, it is mounted on a modern steel gold-plated chain with a matching loop, offering a refined and elegant wearing experience while honouring its ancient origin.
Given its remarkable age, it is advised to handle and wear this piece gently to preserve its integrity.
