Roman Glass Fragments Beads Necklace
Period: 100 B.C. – 300 A.D.
Material: Ancient Roman glass recut , restrung
Dimensions: Approx. 43 cm (17 in) length

A delicate necklace composed of ancient Roman glass beads, dating back nearly 2,000 years. The beads, formed from fragments of Roman glass vessels, display beautiful shades of pale blue, aqua, and soft green, with shimmering iridescence developed over centuries of burial.
Each bead carries unique weathering patterns and mineral deposits, reflecting the passage of time and the ancient glass-making traditions of the Roman Empire. The beads have been carefully restrung on modern thread for safe wear and display.
Condition:
Good condition, with natural signs of age-related wear, surface weathering, and encrustations consistent with genuine archaeological glass. Restrung for preservation.
