Very beautiful practical treatise on microscopy adorned with 350 illustrations. This is the 4th edition by Dr. Hager, translated and annotated by L. Planchon and Dr. L. Hugounenq. The first part covers the microscope and related techniques, while the second part discusses its applications. Copy in excellent condition.
