Description from the seller
ATTENTION MONTBLANC COLLECTORS.
This time we can auction a wonderful Rollerball Montblanc JAMES DEAN limited edition of only 1931 units worldwide.
Besides what it represents for many people, it is truly beautiful and exudes luxury; it is distinguished and above all feels exclusive and within reach of very few, among other reasons because of how quickly it has sold out and how difficult it is to obtain, especially in NEW, never used form.
Made of solid 925 sterling silver and a wooden cap. Completely new, it still has the adhesive seals on the end.
James Byron Dean was born on February 8, 1931, and died on September 30, 1955. He was an American actor. After playing minor roles in television programs and plays during the early 1950s, he moved to Los Angeles, California.
Dean is a cultural icon of teenage disillusionment, as expressed in the title of his most celebrated film: Rebel Without a Cause (1955), in which he played the role of troubled Los Angeles teenager Jim Stark. Other roles that cemented his stardom were that of the lonely Cal Trask in East of Eden (1954) and the ranch hand Jett Rink in Giant (1955). His enduring fame and popularity rest on his performances in these three films, where he embodied the lead role in each.
His untimely death in a car accident cemented his legendary status. He was the first actor to receive a posthumous Academy Award nomination for Best Actor and remains the only actor to have received two posthumous nominations. In 1999, the American Film Institute ranked him 18th on its list of the greatest male movie stars of all time, AFI's 100 Years... 100 Stars.
The complete collection is sent, including all cases and documentation.
The reservation price is the minimum acceptable price; it will NOT be offered at a lower price.
Shipping by express courier to ensure its quick and secure delivery.
Good luck with your bids!!!
