Keiichi Tanaami is a Japanese pop art legend known for his colorful, surrealist style. In honor of his sixty-year career overview in Tokyo, we collaborated with him to redesign one of our iconic brands: Barbie.

Barbie doll wears a multi-layered pleated dress made of faux leather, decorated with Tanaami artworks and a 3D face on her torso. Her yellow headdress is adorned with curious eyes with vinyl eyelashes, and a central eye on the crown – an ode to art and fashion that sees everything and reveals nothing.

She is carrying a drawstring bag with a Tanaami dragon goldfish inside.
