Francesco Mussida - Lunar Orbit - Analog Photography

This photographic print depicts the trajectory of the Moon's orbit. It was made using a pinhole camera (without a lens) and a seven-hour night exposure (from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.).

The image was captured by exposing a 24x30.5cm sheet of printing paper into a pinhole camera I made, then developing it in a darkroom and contact printing.

This printing technique transfers the negative image of the "master" sheet onto another sheet of identical size, thus obtaining the "positive" version of the image.
This is the first ever print I have made from this negative.
