Its name, which means "place of stones", derives from the abundance of stone present in the subsoil of these lands. Stones that in the past were used for the construction of most of the buildings on the side of the farm where the vineyards called "Tassinaia" are located. The wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes in almost equal percentages. The harvest is done by hand, starting from the second week of September for the merlot, from the fourth for the cabernet sauvignon. Once fermentation is complete, the wines mature separately in Allier barriques, partly second passage, for 14-16 months. The wine is then blended and bottled. Complete the refinement with 12 months in the cellar before being marketed.
