Description
Original hand-painted production cel from the TV anime
“UFO Baby / Daa! Daa! Daa!” (J.C.STAFF, 2000–2002).
Very cute and emotional scene with Miyu in profile and the alien cat Wannyan crying with folded hands. Both characters are on the same cel, making it a great display piece.
Set includes:
• 1× original production cel (Miyu & Wannyan)
• 1× original douga (key drawing) of Wannyan (marked “END”)
• 2× small effects drawings (tears/blobs)
Size of cel: approx. 26 × 23 cm
Origin: Japanese studio production material used in the making of the series. Exact episode/timecode unknown.
Condition
Front of cel:
• Colours still bright, linework sharp.
• Minor dust and typical studio handling marks. Displays very well.
Back of cel (paint side):
• Noticeable paint wear / paint transfer on Wannyan’s white areas due to past sticking to another surface (see photos).
• This is hardly visible from the front but must be mentioned for accuracy.
Drawings:
• Original production drawings with light handling marks, no major damage.
Cel and drawings are unrestored and sold in original, used studio condition.
