For sale is an original Gustav-Becker regulator with the well-known SILESIA spring movement, manufactured in Braunau/Schlesien. A Viennese style regulator from the late Gründerzeit period, in good, well-maintained, and immediately operational condition.
Condition & Care
The wooden case has been carefully restored and cleaned, with the historic patina consciously preserved and then protected with a colorless glaze and linseed oil. This maintains the original depth of the wood without distorting its antique character.
All decorative parts, columns, and attachments are fully present.
The movement was cleaned (without disassembly) and runs very quietly, stably, and remarkably precisely – almost like a digital clock.
The gong strikes exactly at the half-hour and full hour.
