Donna Olimpia 1898's Bolgheri Rosso is a wine that embodies a unique winemaking tradition, one that sees primarily international grape varieties grown in this part of Tuscany. This wine is no exception, blending the different varieties to create a balanced flavor and aroma, with aromas that are both delicate and bold, highlighting primary and tertiary notes. This Bolgheri Rosso is the result of a blend by Donna Olimpia 1898 of the international grape varieties that have, over the decades, become the hallmark of the Bolgheri terroir: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot, with the addition of a pinch of Petit Verdot. The grapes are hand-picked during the harvest, and once destemmed, only the finest grapes are pressed. The resulting must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, and the wine is then transferred for final aging in oak barrels, where it ages for a total of 14 months.

The Donna Olimpia 1898 Bolgheri Rosso develops a distinctive ruby ​​color in the glass, highlighted by subtle violet highlights visible at the rim.
