Discover the essence of the Saar in Ferdinand’s Saar Dry Gin and Ferdinand’s Saar Dry Vermouth, both crafted on the steep slate hills of Germany’s Saar region.
Named after Ferdinand Geltz, co-founder of the VDP Mosel-Saar-Ruwer, these creations capture the terroir of the Zilliken estate with Riesling grapes from the famed Saarburger Rausch vineyard.
Ferdinand’s Saar Dry Gin
Infused with over 30 botanicals — including wild juniper, local hops, kaffir lime, jasmine, and green cardamom — it offers a floral, citrus-driven bouquet with notes of lemon meringue, lavender, and vanilla. The finish is warm and dry, perfect for a Martini or Gin & Tonic (44% ABV).
Ferdinand’s Saar Dry Vermouth
The world’s first vintage Riesling vermouth, cold-macerated with 12 regional botanicals such as homegrown wormwood, lovage, and vineyard onion. Aged in Mosel Fuder casks, it reveals fruity minerality, floral herbs, ripe grapefruit, white peach, and a subtle bitterness — an elegant apéritif or refined Martini base (18% ABV).
