Leather helmet with Halcyon fabric visor - Piloot grandprix of motor - Jet helm

This genuine leather helmet is almost identical to early helmets worn by pilots, racers, or drivers. It features a neck flap, leather ear covers, and the original strap and closure, and is in nearly new condition. On the back of the helmet, there are two leather straps to keep the goggles securely in place. No brand or size is indicated, but the remaining tag shows L = Large = approximately 57.
This pilot cap or race helmet is a collector's item for F1 or vintage motorcycle and scooter enthusiasts.

The accompanying old-school silver-colored Halcyon racing glasses with facet lenses are a quality pair from England and fit perfectly. These vintage HALCYON glasses in WWII style are motorcycle or helmet glasses for pilots of the Royal Air Force, marked 'made in England,' PATENT REG. DESIGN, BS 4110. Made from solid brass, with an aluminum-colored frame, hand-stitched onto a brown leather face mask. The glasses feature diagonally curved, (curved or facet) clear lenses that are UV-resistant and 99.9% scratch-resistant. They meet the standards of the Institution of Institutions (BSI - BS 4110). The glasses have an adjustable headband, allowing them to be worn over a helmet or pilot cap. They are in excellent, rarely used, and original condition. (new price approximately 125 euros).
