Parker set of two gold- and silver-plated markers, made in the United States, from the mid-20th century, with guilloché pattern, 129 mm long and 9.5 mm in diameter, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
This Parker set is presented as both a display piece and for use: two instruments with a classic aesthetic and a striking metallic finish, in a generally very attractive condition for professional sale.
The piece with a gold finish, featuring a 'guilloché' pattern / fine mesh, retains a warm and uniform shine across the entire surface. The engraving appears sharp and deep, with no areas that are 'eaten away' or dents that break the design. The arrow-shaped clip maintains good alignment and tension, and the central band with the PARKER logo looks well-defined, with minimal wear typical of careful use.
The piece with a silver finish looks equally well preserved, featuring an elegant geometric engraving that remains a visual focal point. It displays the natural patina of the metal (very common and sought after in vintage sets), with no noticeable deformations or dents, and the firm, properly seated arrow clip. The band marked PARKER remains legible and clean.
Regarding the black sections, both are in good structural condition, with proper shine and no visible cracks. The images show signs of wear/use at the tips (proof that they have been used), but the overall impression conveys care, aesthetic coherence, and a good presence for collection or daily wear with style.
Overall, it is a very eye-catching set, with metallic finishes that look especially good in hand, ideal for those seeking a Parker with character, elegance, and that vintage touch not found in modern pieces.
It will be properly protected and shipped in a courtesy box.
