Parker Duofold The Craft of Traveling Limited Edition, metal-bodied fountain pen with an 18‑karat gold nib and a lapis lazuli gemstone in the cap, limited to 1300 pieces, made in France in 2018, in new unused condition with the original display stand.
Description from the seller
Parker Duofold Pen, The Craft of Traveling, 18K
New, unused, perfect condition, everything complete + additionally, an original Parker display stand for the pen.
To celebrate 130 years of innovation and exceptional craftsmanship, Parker has designed a limited edition Duofold. Craft of Traveling, with a run of 1,300 pieces, is a tribute to founder George Swinnerton Parker and his passion for exploring the world.
Now you understand that this is not an ordinary pen. It is a wonderful gift and an object of desire for collectors.
18-karat gold, precious gemstone
The general rule in the economy is: if stock markets are in trouble, the price of gold will rise sharply. The nib of this pen is made from solid 18-karat gold.
Furthermore, the pen is partially gold-plated, and the cap features a gemstone, Lapis Lazuli. The stone is opaque and mainly composed of mineral lazurite (blue) and pyrite (golden). Each stone is, of course, unique, giving this pen a distinctive character. This stone was chosen for its color, reminiscent of the ocean, which George Parker traveled across many times.
On the corpus, there is a world map with laser-gilded details covered in dark blue lacquer.
Certificate of authenticity
With such a special keepsake, you will also receive an authenticity certificate. The certificate is signed by Geoffrey Parker, the great-grandson of George Swinnerton Parker, the founder of the brand. It includes one of 1,300 numbers — the exact number of pieces produced.
Other accessories
The box contains a welcome brochure, a warranty booklet, and a limited fountain pen with black ink, an ink cartridge, five long black refills, and a pen holder that allows you to place the pen on your desk.
