This lot features a traditional Nanbu Tetsubin (南部鉄瓶) iron kettle together with five leaf-shaped cast-iron tea trays, stored in the original wooden presentation box. Nanbu ironware is highly regarded for its durability, heat retention, and distinctive textured surface.

The iron kettle has a charming rustic finish with a sculpted pinecone-style lid knob and floral motifs on the lid. The tea trays are shaped like leaves with detailed surface texture, ideal for serving teacups or as decorative pieces.

There are minor signs of use such as light scratches, but the set remains in very good condition and can still be used comfortably. Please check all photos carefully to confirm the condition before bidding.

A beautiful example of traditional Japanese craftsmanship, suitable for both functional tea service and display.
