IWC Ingenieur 3805, period 2000, quartz movement cal. 633, steel case with a yellow gold bezel.

AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Without a doubt, this is one of the most intriguing IWC watches to bear the Ingenieur name. The 3805 is a mechanical quartz chronograph with a built-in alarm complication, housed in a 34.5 mm steel case that is unlike any other. The design draws inspiration from aviation, Genta, and the charm of knurling. It’s not the first thing that comes to mind when talking about neo-vintage, but that’s exactly what it is. The quartz mechanism is now mostly a lost technology, but this was the swan song of its era, bringing to life the fascinating IWC watches of the 1990s. The caliber 633 came from JLC, a true marvel of engineering. This piece features a bold, full case design, with a yellow gold bezel weighing 12.89 grams.
Shows only minor signs of superficial wear. The dial and tritium applications are of an intense honey color, a shade often found in this era of IWC, and simply perfect. It comes from my collection. Fully functional but never serviced. Only the alarm remains to be checked.
