A beautiful specimen, very well preserved, despite the absence of the binding's seven hundredth-century leather title label; 17 x 10 cm. Nobiliary ex-libris on the rear cover. The first guard has ancient handwritten notes. The author is the German jurist and reformer Johann Oldendorp (1486-1567), a professor in various German cities, who dealt with political and social theory, natural law philosophy; he was a lively Lutheran who actively participated in the religious struggles of his time.
