Description from the seller
Märklin H0 - 3111 - Steam locomotive - NMBS/SNCB
It is a vintage Märklin 3111 train.
Brune locomotive No. 5920, steam type 59 from NMBS/SNCB, operational and in excellent condition.
Model 3111 concerns a steam locomotive of the Bayerische S 3/6, classified as Type 59 by the National Railway Company of Belgium, in brown livery with black accents, dating from era I (1914-1925).
The model measures 24.9 cm in length and is equipped with a Relex connector on the tender side.
The motor has been tested and is operational, digitized address 21, ESU Lopi V3 decoder, only front light, depending on the direction of travel, no rear light, no smoke generator.
The main construction data are that the collector of the groteschijf was modified with a permanent magnet while retaining the original 8-tooth disk collector.
On the front right side of the locomotive, the two lower steps are missing.
Original packaging. However, it shows signs of age-related wear.
As Märklin wishes, aging hardly affects the operation of their trains and wagons.
At the time, the machine had cost 200 DM; the price is still on the packaging. Train store in Aachen.
Please look at the photos for a good impression; they are part of the description.
