Measurement in frame: 43 x 38 cm in frame.
Sketch with sacred figures
Technique: Oil on cardboard
Dimensions: 30 × 22 cm

Description:
An oil sketch of strong immediate execution, with loose and rapid brushstrokes, intended to define the compositional structure and chromatic relationships of a sacred scene. The use of light and chromatic contrasts refer to the late Baroque Venetian language, particularly to the sphere of Sebastiano Ricci, whom this study appears inspired by.
