German Empire 1932 - Airship Graf Zeppelin Switzerland trip 5.7.1932 onboard mail on Zeppelin picture card

One of the small Switzerland flights. On July 5, 1932, the airship Graf Zeppelin embarked on a small round trip over Switzerland. Postcard with onboard postmark from July 5, 1932, with 1RM Zeppelin postage. The card was sold during the inspection of the airship at the airship yard and was stamped there with the oval commemorative postmark. It was then probably dropped into the Zeppelin post mailbox at the airship. This mail was then transported on the next Zeppelin flight and marked onboard with the onboard postmark. Only a few items with onboard postmarks are known from this short flight. There was no postal dispatch through the Friedrichshafen post office.
