In good condition - 27x34x20 cm.
Very fine Chinoiserie chest with hand-painted Chinese ladies (dressing/bathing scene on the top lid). The chest stands on four round wooden legs.
Two richly decorated handles on each side, made of brass. The front latch also closes well. The chinoiserie is beautiful and fully decorated with Chinese texts on a red background. Floral motifs and a Meander pattern are present below and above.
With light imperfections but certainly does not detract from the overall appearance. The small imperfections of time are so minor that they are easily restorable.
This is an authentic and unrestored item! A wonderful addition to your antique collection and/or Chinese art.
