De Foscarini Plass Grande is a sculptural pendant lamp where craftsmanship, technology, and Venetian tradition come together.
Designed by Luca Nichetto, the lamp is a contemporary interpretation of the classic Venetian glass bead — or as Nichetto himself calls it: 'a pearl of ground glass.'

The name Plass is a fusion of plastic and glass, referring to the unusual material use. Because glass in this form was not possible, Foscarini chose transparent polycarbonate — a rare choice within their collection, essential for the flowing, seamless shape.
Rotational casting of the door gives the lamp a subtle striped pattern that richly breaks the light. During the day, the lamp appears full of color; once lit, it becomes almost transparent — just like the colored windows of Venetian houses that inspired the designer.

De Plass Grande features a central E27 light source for direct lighting and six G9 pin lamps that softly illuminate the interior — individually switchable for added flexibility.

With its generous size and refined finish, this lamp is a true focal point in grand entrances, above a staircase, or in spacious living areas.
The elegant gray tone enhances the light play and gives the lamp a stylish, modern appearance.
