Marco Corridoni, FIXED Fontana - Xmas edition, 2025, original edition, mixed media on canvas jute, 40 × 30 cm, hand-signed, in excellent condition, Italy, sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
FIXED Fontana - Christmas edition (2025)
Water-based paint on canvas, jute.
30x40cm
UNIQUE and ORIGINAL WORK
Special edition of the 'Fixed Fontana' series celebrating the magic of Christmas through the union of a purplish red and the color gold.
The artist draws inspiration from Lucio Fontana's spatial concepts to rewrite art history, through a manipulation of his artistic poetic, suspended between citation and desecration.
The cuts are sewn up, symbolically, to shorten the space rather than "opening" it.
Expectations are disappointed, almost as a sign of protest against a way of doing and selling art that has little or nothing to do with the originality and essence of art itself.
The tapes are prepared in the style of Fontana, and the cuts, strictly made by hand by the artist, replicate those of the most famous works.
Each cut is fixed with a black canvas on the back, just as documented by Lucio Fontana: this gives stability to the work and a refined aesthetic effect.
Work signed on the back
Photographic certification included
Customizable frame available separately
