Elegant Art Deco dessert set by Orfèvrerie Christofle, under the Alfénide mark, in the refined “Cirta” pattern designed by Luc Lanel around 1930.
The model is distinguished by its geometric fluting and stepped ends, typical of Lanel’s modernist designs created for Christofle’s table collections during the interwar period.

12 dessert forks – 17 cm
12 dessert spoons – 17 cm

Presented in its original green fitted case (marked A. Bousquet Joaillier – Montpellier)

Hallmarks:
Each piece stamped Alfénide with the Christofle scale hallmark and silver-plating mark “60” (indicating 60 grams of silver deposit per dozen pieces).

Condition:
excellent condition with minor signs of age and sporadic use. The silver-plating remains bright and even; the box shows slight wear consistent with age.

Designer:
Luc Lanel (1893–1965), chief designer for Christofle from 1922 to 1945, created many iconic Art Deco lines for the company, including Ondulation, Malmaison, and Cirta, combining architectural form with functional elegance.
