With the 6 plates called for present including 2 folding charts. The first of two voyages during the Crimean war in a small cutter yacht, unsuitable for such a journey

8vo, bound in original publishers blue cloth with gilt illustration to upper board, gilt lettered to spine. Original tan endpapers, bookplate to upper pastedown.

The contents are complete in vii, 333pp, with 6 plates present as called for including 2 folding charts.

Condition: Binding is holding firmly and in good condition, lightly rubbed and marked, extremities with minor abrasion, spine a touch sunned, bumping to spine ends. Contents holding firmly and in good clean and crisp condition, light toning towards margins, page edges rough trimmed and a touch dustmarked with an occasional spot or mark.
