4to, bound in original half navy morocco over orange cloth boards, upper with gilt crest of the Beauforts, gilt lettered to spine, top edge gilt, edges rough cut. Original navy endpapers. Collation: (xix), 589pp, with a coloured folding map and uncoloured map at rear.


Condition: Binding holding firmly and in very good condition, general edge wear, spine scuffed, corners bumped, boards soiled. Contents are holding firmly and in very good condition, light dust and toning, scattered foxing - largely round the untrimmed edges and endleaves, the odd minor spot or mark. Ink annotation to verso of ffe. Please see images for further condition.
