Description from the seller

Elegant five-light candlestick in gilded bronze, resting on a richly decorated tripod base with acanthus leaves and stylized rocaille motifs. The main branch, arched in a semi-circle, is adorned with openwork decorations, symmetrical scrolls, and small enamelled flowers applied as embellishments, adding a delicate polychrome touch.
The bobèches, moulded and finely chiseled, extend a network of tendrils and foliage typical of late neoclassical ornamentation. The entire piece features an antique gilding, with slight wear and traces of green oxidation visible in certain areas, attesting to its age and patina.

French work from the late 19th century, circa 1880.
Very good overall condition, patina due to age.

Dimensions: 50cm x 42cm x 19cm
